adam and eve and the garden 1-the garden of eden and man

This tree was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil

He tells Adam and Eve of a promised savior who will once again restore their relationship with God.
A few Scriptures back, I referred to Revelation 2:7, which refers to the tree of life as being in the midst of the Paradise of God. The word Paradise is found only three times in the Bible. From Revelation 2:7, we see that Paradise seems to refer to both the Garden of Eden and heaven. In fact, the Garden may be seen as a type of heaven. In 2 Corinthians 12:4, Paul uses Paradise to refer to a place that someone (probably Paul himself) was temporarily taken to, either bodily or in vision. The only other place in the Bible where the word Paradise is found is in Luke 23:43 when Jesus speaks to one of the robbers that were hanged on either side of Him. The one He speaks to is repentant: “And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

The Story of Adam and Eve - DLTK's Bible Activities

The woman believed the opposing information that the devil gave her. She went against God's information and listened to the devil's information. She did not listen to the holy spirit-life within her, which God had given her so that God and she could communicate with each other regarding things; she could have gone over and eaten from the tree of life instead.

The woman's decision was to believe what the serpent had given her to believe, and she obeyed the lie that he had spoken. Then the Bible says that she gave also to her husband who was with her. The woman offered the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to Adam.

That tree gives knowledge of good and evil.

AND THE LORD GOD COMMANDED THE MAN, SAYING, OF EVERY TREE OF THE GARDEN THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: BUT OF THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL, THOU SHALT NOT EAT OF IT: FOR IN THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST THEREOF THOU SHALT SURELY DIE-Gen 2:15-17.

God had already told Adam about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam knew it was there and he knew that it was wrong to eat from that tree and what the consequence was if he would eat that fruit = death. However, when he heard what the serpent gave to believe about this tree and the consequences the serpent gave about eating of it, Adam rejected what God had given him to believe and decided to change his mind and believe what the devil had given to believe.

Even though the woman had already eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and would therefore receive the consequence of doing that, Adam could have said “no” to doing the same thing. But he decided to do what the woman had already done and that was to eat the fruit (produce, that-which is produced) of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. What is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

Adam and his wife/woman heard the voice (sound) of God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and what did they do? They hid themselves from the presence of God among the trees of the garden. They hid themselves from God!
